The Department of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Libraries Department at Israa University concluded a literary symposium on the occasion of the World Book Day at the University Library in the presence of Prof. Mohammed Bakr al-Buji, president of the Palestinian Critics Association.

The symposium was attended by Dr Ahmed Al-Wadiya, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Director of Public and International Relations at the university; Eng. Ehab Abu El Khair, Eng. Arafat Khawaja, and Mr Mustafa Diab from the  Department of Student Affairs; Hassan Abu Hassanein, Director of Libraries Department; and a number of university students.

During the symposium, there were various activities of valuable information. Among of them, some talented students improvised poems and thoughts. Accordingly, students participating in the literary competition "Jerusalem is the Capital of Palestine" was honored.

At the end of the symposium, the guest took a tour through the halls and the museum of the university.
