Gaza Strip: Palestinian’s newest university obtained an International Quality Certificate.

Mr. Mahmoud Abu Mois, Minister of higher Education and Scientific Research, expressed, his pride on behalf of Excellency Palestine President: Mahmoud Abbas; Prime Minister: Dr. Mohamed Shtayyeh, that Israa University-Gaza has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Certificate; in existence of officials, academics, university presidents, members of the Legislative Council, and a few national, political, and community figures attended the ceremony.
He confirmed that Israa University is considered one of the international education institutions that make their way despite the oppression and "Israeli" aggression toward quality and excellence in higher education. He said that "getting the ISO international certificate came with all merit; wishing them a present and a future full of successes and innovations."

Dr. Adnan Al-Hajjar, Israa University President, welcomes all attendance, confirming that this occasion represents a new station of the university toward leadership and creativity. He said: "Since its inception, Israa University has sought to provide an ambitious and clear vision for a meaningful model in higher education in Palestine, at various levels, primarily to achieve the requirements of global quality and creativity in scientific research and fields, and to equip buildings and facilities in a modern and appropriate manner; Israa has also distinguished academic staff, forming local and international partnerships and implementing international programs, to meet the needs of our students and international standards of quality."
At the end, Mr. Muhannad Al-Kabid, Director of Operations Development at the Lloyds Register, the international donor to the ISO International Certificate for Israa University, extended his congratulations and greetings to the University's members, management and academic staff, have all the efforts made to obtain the international certificate, which required considerable hard work from the university to reach this step to obtain the certificate.
It is worth mentioning that the university's getting the international ISO certificate came as a result of a sound planning from the university administration; Hence, it launched the motto of "Change Towards Professionalism" to add a new distinction to many recent achievements the university accomplished.
