The Faculty of Law at Israa University establishes a legal clinic in order to enhance the practical experience of the students of the college and to help marginalized and poor groups in the society. The clinic receives the cases of those groups, refer them to specialists, provides them with legal advice, and assists them in the extracurricular activities related to civil society organizations.

The director of the legal clinic and the Assistant Dean of the law faculty, Dr. Alaa Matar explained, "This clinic will contribute to serve law students by training them, developing their abilities and performance, encouraging them to provide initiatives that serve the community, and teaching them the legal skills they will need to be role models of an efficient lawyers".

He adds that law students' participation in legal clinics helps them learn law through practice and correct thinking. They also learn how to listen and communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, litigants, public prosecutors, judges and other legal process personnel. This contributes to develop students' critical thinking skills and contextual understanding of the legal process.

He mentioned that the clinic includes a group of legal experts with competence in law field and human rights.
