Israa University signs MOU with Bandera and Alanya Turkish Universities

Israa University signed two memorandums of understanding with the universities of Bandirma and Alanya of Turkey, which aim at enhancing joint cooperation, scientific research and exchange students among the three universities.

The two memorandums of understanding were signed during a visit to the headquarters of the two universities in the Republic of Turkey by the President of the University Dr. Ibrahim Al-Haussaina and the President of the University Dr. Adnan Al-Hajjar. The two memorandums of understanding aim to achieve mutual benefits for the signatories and to strengthen and expand the common interests. They include the exchange of studies between the universities for the doctoral study under joint supervision and cooperation in the projects of studies and scientific researches and the production of scientific and academic journals and the academic exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

These agreements come within the context of the strategic vision pursued by Israa University to develop higher education in Palestine in general and the Gaza Strip in particular through partnership with regional and international educational institutions in its belief in the important role played by higher education in supporting the desired development in various fields in Palestine.

Israa also signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Seljuk, Turkey to provide a number of grants for postgraduate studies (Masters for university students and doctoral staff) for the academic year 2018-2019, and to hold joint scientific conferences and support joint scientific research.
