As part of preparation for the International Conference, the third arbitrator organized by the Faculty of Law in cooperation with the Center for Women's Affairs-Gaza entitled "Promoting the Rights of Palestinian Women in light of International Conventions and Experiences", on 11-12 / 3/2019, Women's Affairs held two scientific days on 6-7 / 11/2018 on "The reality of the rights of Palestinian women and the challenges to their enjoyment of their rights." The two scientific days were attended by more than 200 students from different faculties of the university. Elimination of all forms of discrimination against women "CEDAW", and how to address the local laws of those rights, especially the Basic Law and related laws. The meeting also highlighted the importance of educating Palestinian women on their constitutional and legal rights guaranteed by Islamic law and national and international legislation, benefiting from successful international experiences in promoting women's rights, and finding appropriate means to protect women who violate their rights and to rehabilitate them psychologically and socially.
