On Tuesday, 29th March 2022, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Khaleq Al-Farra, President of Israa University, met with Dr. Mai Kaileh, the Palestinian Minister of Health, to discuss the latest developments concerning the preparation of the university hospital at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah.
Professor Dr. Al-Farra briefed Her Excellency, the Palestinian Minister of Health, on the details of the construction of the educational hospital, and all the phases of its preparation, especially the first phase, and what has been achieved so far. He also pointed out that this project comes in the context of the university’s mission towards serving its students and members of the community, which would help in Providing the necessary health services for our people.
For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Kaileh commended the university’s progress and its developmental vision, expressing her happiness for what has been accomplished in this “great medical edifice”. Besides, she thankfully promised to provide the necessary support to the various medical departments in the hospital, especially the Department of Oncology and Hematology to make the hospital as one of the specialized medical centers which provides all health services to our people in the southern governorates and helps reduce the treatment gap for them in full coordination with the Ministry of Health.
