On 27th March, 2022, H. E. the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mahmoud Abu Mowais, received the President of Israa University, Prof. Abdel-Khaleq Al-Farra, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah.
Prof. Al-Farra briefed His Excellency Prof. Abu Mowais on the academic conditions of the university, and its future plans for the development of the university through qualitative educational programs to serve the community, reviewing the university's latest accomplishments, especially the establishment of the educational hospital.
In addition, the university president presented to the minister a guide showing the phases of inauguration of the medical city and the specialized medical departments of the city, stressing that" it will be a national, non-profit medical institution, and it will provide health service to our people. Also, it will contribute to the settlement of the health service in Palestine, and will work to reduce the treatment gap in Palestine.”
On his part, Prof. Abu Moais praised Prof. Al-Farra for " the considerable effort ", and he graciously promised to provide assistance in overcoming obstacles to complete the achievement of this great medical edifice. His Excellency the Minister also commended the university's role and position among Palestinian universities.
At the end of the meeting, the president of Israa university extended his sincere gratitude and thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for his interest in the university’s progress, and for his responsible concern towards our educational and national institutions.
