Prof. Abdel-Khaleq Al-Farra, President of Al-Isra University - Gaza, hosted Dr. Nidal Al-Jayoci, the representative of the Palestinian-European Cooperation Office for Higher Education, and Director of the Erasmus + office in Palestine, at the university main headquarters in Al-Zahra city on Sunday 5/9/2021.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Hassaina, ISUG Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Alaa Mattar, ISUG Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abd Al-Fattah Qarama, Director of ERASMUS+ team at IUSG and Eng. Mosa Al-Astal, Director of Planning and Quality Service, in addition to deans of colleges and directors of departments.
ISU president welcomed Dr. Al-Jayouci at Al-Isra University, acquainting him with the university specializations and facilities, highlighting its most prominent achievements at the internal and external levels, especially the University Medical Center project.
Prof. Al-Farra indicated that the university achieved a qualitative leap within a short period of time at the academic and administrative levels, which culminated in obtaining International Quality Certificate "ISO 9001-2015".
For his part, Dr. Al-Jayoci thanked Israa University for its hospitality, praising its role and achievements since its establishment. He also emphasized the keenness of the Palestinian-European Cooperation Office to open up to all academic institutions, the matter that ensures the maximum utilization of the available projects in order to exchange experiences and build capacities for the advancement of Palestinian higher education.
Dr. Al-Jayousi met with the Erasmus team at Israa University which includes representatives of all deanships and departments of the university, indicating the importance of Erasmus projects and their positive impact on the academic process.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hassaina, ISU Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, accompanied Dr. Al-Jayoci on a tour to introduce the university's facilities at the main headquarters in Al-Zahra City.
