Israa University Journal for Humanities, which published continuously & annually by the Department of Scientific Research at Israa University -Gaza, has obtained the criteria for indexing at the Arab Citation Impact Factor (ARCIF Analytics). ARCIF was officially launched in 2018, so it has exclusively given the indexation and capacity for 31 Arab scientific Journals, which comply with the international standards.

The journal was ranked by the ARCIF database- one of the "most well-known" database initiatives for scientific content - (Q1), the highest ranking in humanities. The ARCIF Impact Factor of Israa University Journal for Humanities for the year 2020 was (0.0769), whereas that the average ARCIF Impact Factor in the discipline of humanities interdisciplinary at the Arab level was 0.076.

Dr. Alaa Matar, Editor-in-Chief of Journal and Director of the Scientific Research Department, said that this achievement is the result of the great efforts exerted by the university administration, represented by its president, Dr. Adnan Al-Hajjar, in supporting the scientific research progress at Israa University.

Dr. Matar stated that thanks are due to the members of the journal's editorial board and the members of the scientific committee for their continuous efforts in upgrading the journal and its distinguished research results, which was crowned  by a high evaluation of the journal from the "ARCIF" Database.

The Impact Factor of ARCIF Analytics is under the supervision of the Supervisory and Coordination Council, which consists of representatives from several Arab and international background. For instance, "The UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab States in Beirut, the United Nations Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Library of Alexandria, a knowledge database, the Society of International specialized Libraries and others, as well as a scientific committee of experts and academics with a leading scientific reputation from several Arab countries and England.

The publication criteria contain the standards of international conventions for liberalization, the common technical and scientific basic standards, the timing and date of publication, and the general framework of editorial content requires that the Journal be specialized and subject to the initial evaluation of the content. As for the Arab or international diversity, this requires that the journal target the Arab community in its subjects and that there be a diversity between the shareholders' environment.

Last but not least, in 2019 , Israa University Journal for Applied Sciences relatively obtained the Arab Impact Factor, which is supervised by the Arab Universities Union.
